Pringle Challenge
In this project, we were grouped up in groups of four and we were to make a box to send a pringle it the mail. This Pringle had to go 600 miles and come all the way back without being harmed. We also had to make our box as small and as light as possible to get the most amount of points. The three teams that got the most points were awarded extra credit. My groups box weighs 23 grams and had a volume of 450 cm and my pringle came back perfect so my team got second place. The materials we used a cardboard box, cotton balls, and some fabric. We really used all of our materials to protect the chip so we could get the best score possible How the score was calculated is we multiplied the mass and volume. The we took the score we got on how intact our chip was divided that by our mass and volume sum. the last step was to multiply that by one hundred and we got our score which was 96.6. I think my group and I did well on this project and I believe that my group does not need to change anything.
